About Mother Teresa's Writings

I have always loved reading  Mother Teresa's writings.  I have added some to this site.

I feel the word she had is as pertinent today as it was when she spoke it.  I cannot improve on her heart that was from Jesus, so I am putting in many of her writings.

I can always hear words of Jesus spoken to me echoed back in confirmation, through her words.  I can see in her life, a life lived as a vessel of our Savior.  As the Apostle Paul said, follow me as I follow Christ.

She is a light that helps me to see better, in my own walk.  Where my sight may be dimmed I find clearer sight in looking at her life.   Isn't that what we all want to be.

To follow Jesus is to know the Light of Life.

Vessels following the Lord become "Lights" shining in darkness.

I can look at many lives and see my Savior and His will, more clearly, when He brings them into view.

I  always appreciative  this as it seems that they bring my life into a clearer focus.

If you know someone like this, and they have special writings that touch your life, please submit some to us so we can share.   praisechristiannews@yahoo.com          or             gkangell@netzero.com

I wrote a writing aout abortion  before seeing these writings by Mother Teresa.

But they shone out to me with the same message and I want to share them here.  I believe and know with all my heart they are current and urgent for today.

They echo what I have heard in secret, in the ear of my heart from the Lord Jesus,  and  give me extra strenghth to speak out loud.

...Give me the babies and  children that you don't want. .. Give me the mother's that need to be protected and loved, and the little ones. The weak. .. I know they are words from Jesus.

And I know they are what He wants.  To see those who are weak, to come to him, and to find the Source of all protection.  Through our lives given to Him who loved us so much He gave His all for us.

With our hearts and arms open to them to receive them.

Let all of us in this Nation of America know that we need to repent of abortion, the murdering of our young, and stand hard, hand in hand,  in prayer for our Nation and families.

Our country is guilty of the blood of innocents.  More horrible than can be imagined done millions of times.

Beloved, we are Ninevah.  And we need, and our Country needs, to repent.

The Bible clearly states that those who take innocent blood will have a sword that will not depart.  We must repent as a Nation of this innocent blood, the horrors done to innocents and turn and do what we are able in our place, to make a change.  Prayer changes things.  God wants to save this Country and it is up to us to speak out, make changes, pray, and vote appropriately.

To turn in our own hearts, each one, and address and  repent and pray hard for our own Country and families and others.

To ask for repentance that leads to change.  To awake up and be the watchmen on the wall and cry out an alarm.

For the fruits of righteousness to become the works that are done in our Country.  For repentance to come to our leaders, our Country, our people, ourselves.

And the wickedness done in darkness, to be repented of.

To pray for a turn from evil and wickedness and turn to the Lord.

I can not state this clearly enough, nor strong enough.

Let us all make it a priority  to go to prayer daily to our Lord for help.

Love our neighbor as ourself and seeking the Lord with all we can for our part, and find out what is there for us to do, and to give His love bountifully, and  to make a change by God's grace through repentance and prayer and action in our Country.

We can condemn sin, and that is right.  But we need to practice Jesus' Love, which will balance our words and lives, and give us courage to do what we can't, and understanding of what to do.

Jesus didn't come to condemn the world but to save it.

The pharisees condemned everyone for their sin, for breaking their laws, but did not have Jesus' love to give them hope, healing, mercy or compassion.

Their actions did not show the Savior's love or a relationship with Him.

They would stone those that broke their laws, but Jesus came to save the lost .

We need to  know Jesus and then to know He came to save the lost.  And then to take Him to others.

To be busy about our Father's work.  He came to give life and life abundantly.

 Sincerely, Kathleen Angel
