Food to the hungry
A little bit about what is going on here.  And an encouragement to us all, to stop and help each other.

I love the heart the Lord gave Mother Teresa for the poor.

A few quotes from Mother Teresa:

When a poor person dies of hunger, it has not happened because God did not take care of him or her.  It has happened because neither you nor I wanted to give that person what he or she needed.  We have refused to be instruments of love in the hands of God to give the poor a piece of bread, to offer them a dress with which to ward off the cold.  It has happened because we did not recognize Christ when, once more, he appeared under the guise of pain, identified with a man numb from the cold, dying of hunger, when he came in a lonely human being, in a lost child in search of a home."

 Praise Christian News ministry:

We have a outreach we started by God's precious grace, about six years ago with a friend in Kenya, Justus Ondieki.

Mostly we try to help with food to some people and families who just don't have enough to eat, otherwise.

We send about food to many families weekly and to a children's ministry, monthly.   The Lord always provides and it touches many lives and many of those are children.

The Lord showed me the episode of Backyardigans, race around the world.

I had ask the Lord for direction in my own walk and this is what was given to me.  So simple.

The little racer didn't go so fast, but stopped all along the way and helped.  You know what?  He won anyway.

It is like our walk.  It is how we run the race.  And who we stop to help along the way.

It is not necessarily in big things, but little things with love.

Mother Teresa mentions that.  She also often mentioned what the Lord showed to her and what He spoke to all of us.  What we do to the least of His, or don't do, is what we have done or not done to Him.  Having this opportunity is so wonderful to us.

Jesus so loves.  He isn't in such a hurry to run past people in need. His heart pours out for the needs of others.  Even when they are across the world.

We try to feed families every week that do not have the opportunities for simple sustenance.  We'd like to grow in this and have, and it is all because of the Lord's kind help every week and help doing it and His increase for commitments,  which I have not ever seen fail, but always see He covers in love and brings about in wonderful ways.

There is a learning of perseverance by grace, getting a good attitude, and going on in the race. Learning what counts is Jesus' love being shown out to others through vessels of clay.

Helping others in need that we can do something about, in Jesus' love, along the way.

Same for abortion.  Jesus loves those babies so much, and loves the mothers and cares about their lives.  Their sweet lives need to be saved by prayer, peaceful intentional intervention and a willingness to help the mother's in need.

Loving care of foster kids, going to nursing home, it doesn't take much thinking, only a little prayer, to find places to give of the Love of Jesus into the lives of others.

He cares about the lawmakers that don't know Him.  Those with no conscience.  People that would pass laws to kill the unborn.  Among other things.  Yet He loves them.  He wants us to love them and pray for their lives and direction.

He cares about people who live their lives as terrorists.

He cares about the little ones who are starving and taken to do such things from a young age.  He loves so much.

He cares about the people who live godless lives without Him.  And those crying out in their hearts to know the real and Living God Who cares for them.

He cares about those in Japan, everyone there that is crying out to Him, He wants them healed and loved and cared for and under His wing, or in Austrailia, or in Haiti, or in Kenya, or China, or America, or any where, Jesus so loves.

He loves and cares about the person on the street with no home, or the person in bondage to sexual sin, and those in bondage because others have placed them there.  He so cares, so loves, He hears the prayers of the poor and needy.  And He loves them.

The Lord came into the world to save people.  To save sinners.  Of whom, I was the same.  I was as a murderer, I was a thief, a gossip, and every other thing.   I can assure you, from my own life, Jesus came to save you.  As He came to save me.

He would that all would be saved.

He is the Healer, and came to save and heal us all in need.

People are starving for hearing the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ spoken through the Love of God in our lives.

People can hear, through the actions of love.  We can give all we have, go and teach, and preach even, but if we don't have Jesus' Love and show it, it is not a sound that heals.

And a real touch from Jesus Christ will heal a life.  Continued love into lives will transform.

If I were to state quickly the conclusion I have come to, it is this.

God gave many people and countries,  wealth, abundance, much food.  He gives to us an abundance of life when we come to Him.  An abundance of His Love.  It is to share.  Never to hoard.

Many countries and people everywhere,  are extremely poor.

Those who have never heard of the Lord or about Him.   And those who suffer and hunger.

The poor and the needy.  Those crying for help everywhere who do not know the Savior.

The Lord hears.   He cares.  He opens up rivers and fountains for their need, and those rivers and fountains are us, full of His love, life and His blessing for others.

I believe we need to share what we have been given, with others and not turn away.

If by chance you don't know how to help, get in our wagon, we would love to have you aboard. We can be a help to each other to help others and take a water cart of love to thirsty souls.

We can think of many ways to help others and would love to have you as a part of the work that God has given to all of us to do to take the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to touch lives in His compassion and mercy and love.

We are still stepping out.  We are learning.

God bless you as you walk in learning how to give the life He has given you, also.
